I live in Waynesboro, Virginia, with my husband, my Labrador, Miss Ellie Mae, and my Goldendoodle, Master Fionnlagh (he’s very elegant).

I haven’t always been behind the camera. I am a retired Registered Nurse. I worked for the California Department of Corrections. I managed an ambulatory clinic and was the supervisor for the mental health nursing program.

My family, on the other hand, has been involved behind the camera. My grandfather was an avid photographer and movie maker. He was John Wayne’s projectionist and worked at Warner Bros. Studios. My father, Dick Alexander, was a post-production sound mixer and worked on most of Clint Eastwood’s movies. He is a two-time Academy Award winner for All the President’s Men and Clint Eastwood’s movie, Bird, about the famous jazz musician, Charlie Parker.

My brother, Rick Alexander, was also a post-production sound mixer and received numerous nominations, awards, and even an Emmy!

My husband worked for Disney Studios and worked on many world premieres! He was also the personal projectionist for Disney Studios executives and ran movies at their Malibu homes.
